Identify your Wart

“Plantar” means “Of the sole” in Latin. Unlike other types of warts, plantar warts are typically quite painful due to pressure from walking and standing.

Common warts appear most often on the hands, but they may appear anywhere on the body. They are typically rough, gray-brown, dome-shaped growths.

Flat warts are smooth, flat-topped warts commonly found on the face, back of the hands, or legs. They are usually numerous in quantity and may appear in a line.

Different looking than most other warts, filiform warts have long, narrow formations that extend 1-2 millimetres from the skin.

Genital warts are one of the most commonly transmitted infections through sexual activity, affecting the skin of the vagina, the penis and the anus.
